How To Balance

Balancing on two or one legs is so important! Most of the time we don't realize we have lost our balance until it is gone and an injury occurs. Why not work on your balance before then.

After the age of 30, we loose 10% of our muscle mass every 10 years. Muscle is where our balance comes from. The core muscles are the main balancing muscles but today we will do an actual balance exercise.

This first exercise is standing on one leg and bringing your foot up to your knee. After you find a spot to focus on, try to straighten your leg out in front of you. Keep your core tight and think of a string pulling you up through the top of your head to make you stand up tall. Try to bring your foot in and out 10 times on each leg and repeat 3 times through.

Good luck! This will help you balance while you put those undies on without having to hop all over that bedroom. ;)
